• A fundraiser dinner for Billie Raber will be held on Wednesday, September 1 at Der Dutchman in Walnut Creek from 3 - 8 p.m. She is the daughter of Leroy and Chris Raber and will leave in January 2011 to attend the YWAM for Discipleship Training School in Denver. The class is 12 weeks in length. From there she will go on a 12-week outreach mission. Raber and a group of friends will be serving during the fundraiser.
• The Celebrate Recovery Kick Off will be held on Thursday, September 2 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Ripley Church of Christ in Big Prairie. For more info, call Tim Brantley at 330-317-3245. The church is located at 12298 County Road 330.
