The Welcome to Sugarcreek sign that greets visitors coming in from the west on State Route 39 was moved to accommodate the needs of new businesses making their home on the corridor entering Sugarcreek. The work was spearheaded by the Village of Sugarcreek and completed thanks to the help of Tim Immel construction. Cost of the project was estimated at $10,000 and will be paid for by the Village of Sugarcreek, Sugarcreek Business Association and the Ohio Swiss Festival in equal thirds. The three entities pay for the maintenance of all welcome signs around the community.
